After thirteen years as the FCA Director for Cherokee County, God has called me to the position of FCA Collegiate Director at Reinhardt University to reach the hearts of the coaches, athletes, and students with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Together, we can make an eternal difference in the lives of the coaches, athletes, and students at Reinhardt University!!

I have personally witnessed the profound impact that coaches, teams, and chaplains can have on the lives of athletes. At Reinhardt University, I am on a mission that God has called me to: To witness the transformation of the lives and hearts of coaches and athletes through the Gospel.

From facilitating team devotions to leading discipleship groups, Bible studies, and organizing other Christ-centered activities, I am privileged to see the light of Christ making a tangible difference in each life entrusted to me on campus. 

My commitment is unwavering in sharing the grace and truth of Jesus with these young men and women, and I trust in God's power to transform hearts and lives.

For the past 6 years I have served at Waleska First Baptist Church as their Youth Pastor, and in the last 2 years I transitioned into the role of Associate Pastor. Recently, I have felt God pulling at my heart and prompting me to find more ways to serve my community, the town in which I grew up. The students and staff at Reinhardt University are a large part of this mission field. I truly believe God has called me to serve and minister to this specific population in my community. Through much prayer, I am blessed to have the opportunity to join Reinhardt University’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes in ministering to the college athletes here on campus, as well as those I will encounter on other campuses during this new journey. 

As an Area Representative, I look forward to Engaging, Equipping, and Empowering the coaches and athletes in their walk with Christ each and every day through team times, devotionals, Bible studies, and prayer.

I’m beyond grateful and excited to take the next step in my journey and join Fellowship of Christian Athletes staff full time in a ministry role as an Area Representative for Georgia Highlands College and Reinhardt University.

Two years ago, I made a promise to God and to myself… that if He gave me another chance and helped restore me, then I would:

First, help other coaches and athletes who were struggling like I was.

Second, I would spend the rest of my life sharing what Jesus has done for me.

Now, a door has opened that allows me to fulfill those promises by helping coaches and athletes discover where their true identity comes from, in Jesus Christ. I truly believe every success, struggle, and lesson I’ve experienced in life and as a football coach has prepared me for this exact moment. This opportunity allows me to stay connected to the game I love while serving others in a greater purpose.

I’m passionate about building relationships, pouring into student athletes, and walking alongside them in their faith. It also means everything to me to show my children what servant leadership looks like through action. Mason, Palmer, Kelley, and I are incredibly excited for this next chapter and all that God has in store.

I am currently a sophmore at Reinhardt University and I am so grateful for FCA and the opportunity to be able to serve here on campus.

I've always had a heart for God and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store. RU FCA is such a blessing to not only Reinhardt but around the community.
